Here’s a pair of corporate siblings that are nice to see back-to-back. No, I’m not talking about the Subarua BRZ and the Sciota FRS. I’m talking about the black Lamborghini Gallardo I saw !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and the white R8 V10 (also equipped with a lovely brown interior) that I came across today. I know Oppo is big on value, so let’s pretend you’re not paying. Let’s also say that both are flappy paddle boxes.
Bonus Hellcat. Don’t see too many of these outside the shows. Or it could just be that unless I’m up close I can’t tell them from an R/T Challenger.

Tbh if both are V10s, you could give me either one and I’d be fine lol, unless it was a newer facelifted Gallardo, I saw a grey one downtown and it looked fantastic.

R8. I like the Gallardo, but I like the R8 more. It's very high on my cars to own some day list

If the R8 is manual I’d have it. If not I’d take the Gallardo.

R8. Lamborghini never put a multifunctional steering wheel in a Gallardo for whatever reason, it looks cheap and weird IMO.

R8, more comfortable, more practical, and classier.

R8. Beautiful interior, better looking and I’ve driven one so I’m biased haha.

This was a 2014 Gallardo, so yes facelift.

Yes.

Yep, misjudged from the post thumbnail, I would take that, but the one I saw had those weird triangles, don’t know the specific models.

I think R8. Because I think I prefer how it looks, and also because you’re more likely to see a Gallardo around here than an R8. If I see an R8, I assume it’s owned by someone with at least some taste, but if I see a Gallardo, I assume it was paid for by someone’s parents

R8. I love Audi’s and I can fit in the R8 as opposed to the Gallardo.

I’ll just take that 959 and call it even.

If the Gallardo wasn’t boring-ass black, maybe. Why you would want such a dark color to hide all the pretty lines?
So R8 for me.

R8, though I’d prefer a DCT Hellcat over both. I have heard that the ZF8 is pretty great, though.

I think I’d put different wheels on the Gallardo.

I’d take the R8 because I generally feel they are underappreciated, not by me mind you, plus I just like it more.

R8 better headroom I’m tall

Gallardo, easy.

So tough because I love them both. But the Gallardo I really want from that generation is RWD so Audi

You are the first one to pick it outright I believe. Most people prefer the R8, and a couple have said “well I might prefer the Lambo if”.

R8.

Bodes well for used car prices in the future for me. Honestly, the R8 doesn’t do much for me visually.

If they are both flappy, then i guess the Gallardo because it’s a silly car. If the Audi had the gated manual shifter, then I would 200% pick that.

Can’t the Lambo be had with the gated manual?
![]() 03/07/2016 at 19:22 |

Yes, but in a proper manual I’d rather have the R8. Being flappy, the wildness of the Lambo makes up for the lack of left foot fun.
